Plain hooey
in English
For a while now I've wanted to write in English. So, today seems to be the day. Sometimes there are thing only to be expressed in English. Stuff that are impossible to remember or verbalize in Finnish. This 'phenomenon' goes vice versa: sometimes a word in English is only a shallow, imperfect imitation of the meaning in Finnish. This is not one of 'those' things.. this is just a stupid reminder to the author how his language skills have rusted due the lack of using it.
I know that I make mistakes, hell, I've probably already made many, but please be kind and try to remember that this is NOT my native language.
I have so many projects at this moment. I am knittin' mittens, I try to get some inspiration for the pre-selection assignment of Architecture, I'm searching a new computer and also.. some.. heeh.. other stuff (♥)! Today I've luckily had a free day this far so I've been able to delve myself into some of my projects. Then there are some 'lifetime-projects' also going on. I would like to make a song (lyrics and notes), write at least a short story and finish the decorating of my apartment, for example. Of course I haven't forgotten my New-Year resolutions.. yeah, I just haven't been living up to them lately. Yesterday I took a 30 minute jogging exercise.. that's something at least. My project of the ultimate 'Summer-Fit' has been as frozen still as the weather was. Now that it's starting to be warmer I'm hoping to get a grip of myself! I just feel too lazy and hedonistic to do that though the feeling DURING and AFTERWARDS is just amazing. I need a personal slave driver to succeed :D
The text is getting longer and longer, though, it seems to be getting nowhere. I'm probably quitting for this time but most certainly this is not going to be the last post in English. And I just love this font so I need to use it later also! Now I'm knitting for a while and watching some film. Later I'll go to drawing course: we're doing model drawing today! Then some great film at movie theater later.
